JC BRODY has worked the last 11 years for a disability services office at an Idaho university and is passionate about accessibility for people with disabilities. JC has presented at several conferences, including the A11y conference where she taught on sign language interpreting. She has degrees in Educational Interpreting and Creating Writing with an emphasis in critical literary analysis. She is the author of two plays, winner of the 2019 General Fiction First Chapter Contest, and was the Storymakers Writing Retreat coordinator in 2018 and 2019. She is currently looking for a home for her first novel and is in the process of fulfilling her dream of opening an independent bookstore next year.
