KARMA CHESNUT Karma Chesnut is a writer, mother, anthropologist, and author of the novel Unfit. Born and raised in Seattle, Washington, Karma now lives in California with her husband and their three daughters: the snake- hunter, the princess, and the baby. Karma has a bachelor’s degree in Anthropology from Brigham Young University and has participated in a variety of studies ranging from archaeological digs in the Utah desert to ethnographic research in New Zealand.
