Being king should be easy…
The war is over. Now that Shar is officially king, the eighteen-year-old has a new council and will replace rebellious lords with ones willing to uphold his vision for the Fae. His new secretary is helping negotiate the treaty with Earth, his best inventor is trying to combine magic and human tech, and his chief linguist is working on a Fae-English dictionary to improve interspecies communication.
But reigning is a challenge.
Between high school classes, he has to complete treaty negotiations all around the world, reassure his people that they are now safe, and gather evidence to try the rebels for their crimes. If he fails, his people could lose their new home. The responsibility is crushing.
