Raven Slayer is not exactly who he says he is.
To make matters worse, he’s desperately in love. He’s kept his feelings to himself, though, and Evangeline Jaeger, the exuberant and sweet drummer he’d do anything for, doesn’t in fact know that he loves her. This way it’s a little easier for Raven to leave when the lies begin to suffocate him. He’ll help Evangeline’s band prepare for one last release party, then he’s out.

Her riot seems like a perfect opportunity to figure out why, especially since she tricks Raven into becoming her getaway driver.
Hours on the road, unguarded conversations, silly card games, and late-night tea parties bring them closer than ever before. But sooner or later, Raven must tell Evangeline the truth about himself, even if it destroys everything between them, and Evangeline must reveal her own cards and face the looming disasters she’s been running from.
