One misunderstanding can blow the pieces of my life into complete chaos, but is chaos always a bad thing?
Every sign tells me to avoid Neal Hart.
First, I run into him when I’m supposed to be undercover. It does NOT go well.
Second, thanks to the aforementioned NOT going well, his mom thinks I’m a hooker, and my boss thinks I’m losing my mind.
Signs three, four and five: He. Hates. Me.
Unfortunately, I’ve never been good at following signs. Instead of running from him, I tell my boss that Neal’s my boyfriend. It wasn’t something I planned on saying. I also wasn’t planning on falling for him, but the man is gorgeous, funny, and makes my insides feel like an aerial fireworks show.
When we end up at a destination wedding where everyone thinks we’re a couple, I must convince Neal to forget what he thinks he knows about me. Otherwise, I may lose my job, my friends, and any chance of making it through with my heart in one piece.
