Facebook Notifications
To make sure you don’t miss any Facebook Notifications:
- Navigate to the Storymakers Conference Group
- Click the “Joined” button
- Select “Manage Notifications“
- Under “In-app Notifications,” click the radio button for “All posts“
- Click Save (if applicable). This will auto-save in the app.
Discord Notifications
Go here to join the Storymakers Discord
To make sure you don’t miss any Discord Notifications:
- Open the Storymakers Discord Group
- To turn on notifications for a specific channel:
- On the mobile app:
- Click and hold the channel to open the options
- Select “Notification Settings“
- Click the radio button for “All Messages“
- On the desktop app:
- Right click the channel to open the options
- Hover over “Notification Settings“
- Click the radio button for “All Messages“

How to Whitelist Email Domains in Gmail
1. Open Gmail in your desktop or laptop browser (this is not an option on the mobile app)
2. Click on the gear icon in the top right corner to access Settings.
3. Click the “See all settings” button.
4. Select “Filters and Blocked Addresses” in the top menu.
5. Click the “Create a new filter” link
6. In the “From” field, enter the domain (or email address) you want to whitelist and click “Create filter.”
Whitelisting the following domains will ensure you’re getting all of your conference emails:
- storymakersconference.com
- storymakersguild.org
7. Check the following boxes:
- To prevent emails from going to your Spam folder, check “Never send it to Spam.”
- To make sure emails aren’t filtered out of your Inbox, check “Categorize as:” and choose “Primary” from the dropdown.
- If you want to apply this filter to existing emails, check “Also apply filter to matching conversations.”
8. Click “Create Filter”
9. Repeat for next domain
