CELESTA RIMINGTON is the award-winning author of magical books for middle grade readers. Her debut novel The Elephant’s Girl won the Reading the West Book Award from the Mountains and Plains Independent Booksellers Association and has been on many state lists including the Texas Bluebonnet Award Master List. Celesta visits with her readers in classrooms and assemblies and has presented to over 23,000 students from elementary school to college, sharing idea-generating tools and encouraging them to write their own stories. Celesta’s forthcoming novel Reach will be published in Spring 2026 by Nancy Paulsen Books and Penguin Young Readers. When she isn’t researching unusual facts for the setting of her latest book, Celesta is most likely working the heavy bag at the boxing gym or enjoying the beautiful scenery of Utah with her family and their five-pound Yorkie named Winston.
