NICKI STANTON is the co-owner of Hares & Hatters Bookshop in Pocatello, Idaho. She has a degrees in Creative Writing, Educational Interpreting, and Deaf Studies. Before becoming a bookstore owner she worked as an interpreter. She is passionate about language and stories and loves helping authors develop their craft and their relationships with independent bookstores. She is the author of two short plays, the 2019 Storymakers general fiction first chapter contest winner, and on the Whitney Awards Committee for 2026. She lives in Pocatello with her awesome family. She loves Crumble’s Twix cookies, but she loves soccer more.
