Seethaler, Deborah – Tatum’s Story: Illegal Mess

October 25, 2024 · In: 18th

After finally deciding to move on from her heartbreak from Baze, Tatum Mitchell was ready to move on with a new man. But after he whispers the three words she dreads the most, she leaves him in the dust, too.

To escape her boy troubles and get her mind off her mom’s relationship with her coach, Tatum finds a friend in Kelly Burns, another racer who introduces her to the illegal street racing scene. What Tatum finds out, however, is that many of her friends have already been involved with street racing and its coordinator, Jack Reed, behind her back. Tatum can’t deny that competing under Reed could get her access to the latest and greatest bikes and possibly even win her some money. Will she cave to him like Baze, Josh, and Kelly had?

Meanwhile, red flags go up for Tatum as she discovers that someone has tampered with Kelly’s bike the night before a competition at Luanna Raceway – the very same raceway where Tatum’s dad lost his life and where Tatum’s frenemy Courtney was seriously injured.

Kelly and Tatum decide to team up to start their own investigation, unaware that other forces are at work behind the scenes, as well.

Will Tatum and Kelly’s secret investigation get them into trouble? Is there a murderer amongst them? Find out in the latest installment of Tatum’s Story!
