SHELLY BROWN writes middle grade for the national market and has won many awards for her work such as the Nebraska Book Award, the Buckeye Children’s Book Award, and even a Whitney Award. She is known for writing Mustaches for Maddie, The Wild Journey of Juniper Berry, and others with her co-author and husband Chad Morris. She loves traveling the country and sharing her message of literacy and kindness to kids everywhere. She has seven books, six chickens, five children, four seasons, and a partridge in a pear tree.
