He has served with Storymakers, League of Utah Writers, CASWJ, EMAA, BigWorldNetwork, TEDxSaltLakeCity, TABC, LTUE, Utah Poet Laureate Committee, and countless events/organizations. Has received awards from two Presidents of the United States, and Utah State Governor. Awarded the League of Utah Writers Volunteer of the Year award. Worked with the Utah Governor to reestablish “Utah Authors Day”. Was one of four Utahans awarded “The Spirt of Service award” by Governor Cox.
