KAUSHAY FORD grew up in the Midwest, in a family that valued their rich history and culture. Her first foray into authorship, “The Little-Known Heroes” series, was inspired by the stories her grandmother told her about Claudette Colvin. She and her husband Spencer co-authored the first volume of the series, and are currently working on the second.
Kaushay studied broadcast journalism at Brigham Young University, where she learned her eye for detail, and bringing out people’s experiences to tell their stories. By day, she is the owner and lead planner for Kaushay & Co. Events, telling stories through the events she creates. In her spare time she acts, sings, dances, and adds books to her “to be read” list; occasionally taking the time to actually read them!
