It was supposed to be a quiet Christmas.
Libby Flynn didn’t know when she became a coward, but she was. And now a lie of omission to keep her family happy has landed her spending Christmas alone. When a handsome stranger gives her his number she has hope that it won’t be a horrible holiday. Of course, when he shows up in front of her cabin threatening to call the police on her, she starts to rethink everything.
Jack has enough on his mind. His business has been getting an increasing number of bad reviews from people he has never met and it’s starting to hurt his business. Libby tumbling into his life makes him happier than he’s been in months. When he finds out that she’s related to the one person who turned his life upside down three years ago, he decides it’s best to put distance between them.
As Libby’s Christmas vacation starts turning into a string of bad luck, Jack can’t help but want to be the person to help her through it. The more time the two spend together the more, they start to wonder if it’d be worth it to let go of the past and fall for each other.
