ALENE WECKER After exhausting her reading list during a banal bout of bed rest, Alene tackled the tedium by attempting a novel of her own. She fell in love with writing. Her debut novel, An Engagement of Sorts, was published with Covenant Communications in 2021. Alene holds a Master of Music in Vocal Performance, though she rarely uses her degree. She likes to tell herself her education comes in handy as she describes debutantes who, like herself, are frequently forced to display their mediocre skills at the pianoforte. She lives with her husband, 6 children, and a beloved auntie in Temecula, California.
