Dying sucks. There’s just no way around that. But the afterlife doesn’t have to be a total drag. That’s what sarcastic, pop-culture-obsessed, 90s kid Jane Bridger learned when she died 20 years ago. She found a best friend in the eccentric Kiwi who runs the afterlife Jojo, a love interest in the recently transferred Victorian ghost William, and a living family to haunt who shares her taste in reality TV. But when her favorite paranormal investigator is slated to film his show in her designated haunting region, Jane seizes the opportunity to break the rules and make contact.
What starts out as an innocent celebrity crush, quickly turns down a dark path as Jane begins to uncover the truth about her death and the afterlife as a whole. But can she prevent the exposure of the afterlife before her time runs out?
