RACHEL BATEMAN is an author and screenwriter living in the middle of Montana. Her novel Someone Else’s Summer was optioned for film before selling to a publisher, with Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin’s Bailee Madison attached to play the lead. Prior to turning to writing, she worked as a film buyer, where she used all her spare time talking to Hollywood studios to find out what makes them say YES to a story. When she’s not writing, you can find Rachel sewing, wrangling chickens, or planning her next road trip.
