SHARI PHIPPEN has believed in the power of story, ever since she played the lead role in High Plains Elementary’ s version of “The Little Rabbit with Red Wings.” She loves reading a perfect first kiss after pages and pages of “why won’t they talk to each other???” and has been known to throw books out of frustration. When she’s not playing boss-lady in local government, she is working on getting all of the words out of her head and on to the page. She loves travel, naps and Diet Coke. And yes, her great great grandfather really did steal someone’s identity in the Civil War.
