WENDY S. SWORE and her family are farmers. She writes part-time, particularly in winter when the snow gives her time to plant seeds in her imagination. Wendy is the Foreword INDIES Juvenile Fiction Gold winner for her best-selling middle grade novel, A Monster Like Me. Her novel The Wish & The Peacock won honorable mention for 2020 Idaho Book of the Year, and was listed by Bank Street College as one of 2020’s Best Children’s Books of the Year. Her latest book, Strong Like the Sea, came out in May of 2021. She is a member of SCBWI.
