AMY NEWBOLD writes books for kids (picture books through YA). Her first book, IF PICASSO PAINTED A SNOWMAN (2017), was nominated for the Pennsylvania Reader’s Choice Award and for the Maryland Blue Crab Honor. Her third book, IF MONET PAINTED A MONSTER (2019) is a 2022 nominee for the Patricia Gallagher Children’s Choice Award. Amy has taught at the Writing and Illustrating for Young Readers (WIFYR) conference, and at Storymakers. She is a member of SCBWI and the 12×12 Picture Book Challenge. When not writing, Amy enjoys hiking, birding, taking road trips, and playing board games with her family.
