LISA LOWELL comes from an artistic family where she fell into writing because painting, sculpture and drawing were already taken. She grew up doodling in the margins of her manuscripts when she couldn’t get the descriptions right. Now she is the author of five published fantasy novels, as well as many yet-to-be published manuscripts. She also teaches middle school English in her spare time. She and her husband Pat live near Silver Falls Oregon, where she goes for walks to derive inspiration.
