Darcy Freer seems destined to be wedded to the family farm, but her passion lies in the novels she writes in secret. The story of her ancestors, Anthony and Magdalena, is her current project, but she’s not only conflicted about “wasting” time on it, she’s worried that she’s revealing more about herself than she’s comfortable with, and unconsciously appropriating the lives of everyone else she loves.
When she discovers that someone has posted newfound information about Magdalena’s husband, Anthony, on the family Facebook page, she’s intrigued and reaches out with a simple “Keep it up” that precipitates her meeting Frank Buskirk and subsequently leads to so much more.
