KRISTINA ATKINS writes speculative fiction inspired by mythos from around the world, complex human relationships, and her own experiences living with mental illness. After earning her BA in Linguistics from Brigham Young University in 2008, she received her MFA in Creative Writing from Converse College in 2012. She lives in Denver, where she and her husband spend countless hours trying to keep up with their three rambunctious sons. Outside of writing, she ignores real life by collecting tarot decks, dyeing her hair mermaid colors, and decorating her home. Her work has appeared in Uncharted Magazine.
