CHRIS CROWE teaches at Brigham Young University and specializes in literature for adolescents. His areas of research and teaching include young adult literature, English education, and creative writing. He is the past president of the Assembly on Literature for Adolescents (ALAN) and spent 5 years as the editor of the YA Literature Column for the English Journal. His books include Mississippi Trial, 1955 and Getting Away with Murder: The True Story of the Emmett Till Case.
