GRETCHEN ZAITZEFF has worked in schools and school libraries for over 16 years in multiple states and at all levels. Currently, she is the District Library Media Specialist for the Canyons School District in Sandy, Utah and is the 2023-25 president of the Utah School Library Association. Gretchen passionately believes that information literacy is essential to the preservation of democracy and that the power of school libraries to provide students equitable access to authentic stories and accurate information is both life-changing and lifesaving.
