VEEDA BYBEE is an author of fiction and nonfiction. She graduated from Brigham Young University with a BA in communications (print journalism) and holds an MFA from the Vermont College of Fine Arts. She is the coauthor of the Team Awkward middle grade series and has written several books for young readers, including Shining a Light: Celebrating 40 Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders Who Changed the World. She a contributor to the YA anthology Rural Voices, middle-grade anthology Calling the Moon and Beast Beneath the Winds (spring 2025).
